NAMWCO -New Avenue Mutual Water Company water system has three (3) wells located within the Golden Hills and Rolling Hills Estates developments in South Santa Clara County. The wells pump water from an underground aquifer to five- 20,000 gallon storage tanks on the eastern foothills.
Well-1 is located at the corner of Bridle Path Drive and New Avenue. About 320 feet deep, Well-1 pumps approximately 175 gallons of water a minute. Originally an agricultural well, it was upgraded in 1976 and then replaced in June 1992.
Wells-2 is located at the corner of Duke Drive and Bannister Avenue. This well was brought on line in 1984. It is approximately 300 feet deep and pumps about 200 gallons per minute. Well-2 was upgraded in 1997 and 1998. The submersible pumps was replaced in July 2005.
Well-3 is located on Duke Drive. This well was brought into service at the end 2014, including the roadway, fence, gates and power. The well is 600 feet deep and pumps approximately 400 gallons per minute. Well-3 Is Off-Line until further notice.
